In the Physical

"It's something about when you grab the fabrics now that feels like the energy of your first year in college versus the energy of that last year in high school" -Kanye West

Such a good feeling being able to wear something you designed. I got all the pieces from my Nadia Aboulhosn x Boohoo collection last week and sort of just stared at them hanging in my closet for like 15 minutes straight. This is the first outfit I fully styled with this skort from my collection. This top is from @sirenenyc_ on instagram and I love love love her pieces.

Wearing: Nadia x Boohoo asymmetric skort, Sirene NYC pink bralette, Topshop light pink heels, ASOS pink watch, DSC_0337

Tied Up

"Being busy does not always mean real work. The object of all work is production or accomplishment and to either of these ends there must be forethought, system, planning, intelligence, and honest purpose, as well as perspiration. Seeming to do is not doing." -Thomas Edison

I'm finally getting around to taking blog pictures again. I've been so out of the loop since my capsule collection dropped. I have shoots scheduled all this week with Rue 107 and Lucky Magazine and prepping to shoot my new capsule collection with Addition Elle early May. I've been wearing too many dark colors for Spring but I can't seem to stay away from them. You know I love my thigh highs, especially tie up heels. This use to be a full length jumpsuit but I cut it right above the knee with some scissors because I was over the long leg.

Wearing: Black Tank Jumpsuit, tie up knee high heels..or shop the style below!

Glo'd Up

"Know I don't call enough momma, I just been working with so little time for personal momma."

It's been a crazy week so far and April is looking busier by the day. Spring has me feeling all types of ways especially feminine. Metallics will always be a part of my closet staples and this thin light pink trench is perfect for spring.

Wearing: Carmakoma pink trench coat, Carmakoma metallic top and metallic skirt, nude strappy heels

"I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination." –Jimmy Dean

Went to grab lunch and do my taxes so I threw on something cozy. The weather is warming up slowly so I got the chance to show off some leg. Been digging androgynous streetwear looks with a sexy heel. Changes things up a bit for this transition to Spring in New York.

Wearing: Entree Lifestyle men's jersey (similar), jeffrey campbell black booties (similar), mini black spandex shorts, black flat top sunglasses (similar)

Polyvore - Curvy Chic

I’m so excited to announce a new contest I’m working on alongside Polyvore. In case you’re unfamiliar, Polyvore is a site where people can get inspiration for how to style any item from the global style community. They recently announced their Plus Size category! As part of my collaboration with them team, I've shared some of my favorite fashion trends at

This is my outfit! Can't wait to see the ones you guys make!

Since Polyvore launched Plus Size last week, I’ve loved checking out all the stylish outfits created by their community. To help kick-off their Plus Size launch, Polyvore has organized a contest inspired by my Edgy Minimal style. I’ve chosen theme 'Edgy Minimal' because I love fresh palettes and clean lines. Basically you create an outfit around my theme. I’ll pick a winner and they will receive $500 to shop my new collection at Boohoo!

Just create a Polyvore account if you don't already have one and enter my contest by going HERE and clicking “Create Set” to build an outfit using some my favorite items from Boohoo and my collection like this baby blue dress, this modern tuxedo dress, or this embossed sleeve dress. When you’re done, click ‘Publish’ to enter the contest.

Don’t forget to share your outfit on social using the hashtag #PVCurvyChic and tag me so I can check them out on Instagram. After 5 days, I’ll pick a winner for the $500 gift card to Boohoo!
