Somewhere between psychotic and iconic

“I force myself to contradict myself in order to avoid conforming to my own taste.” ― Marcel Duchamp

I had the pleasure of working with a huge e-commerce thrift shop called Nifty Thrifty. The day before I left for Florida, I had a photo shoot with them. I almost died walking into their warehouse. My mom for sometime now has been telling me she "misses the old Nadia". She's basically saying I fell off wearing thrift and vintage pieces. As soon as I stepped in the building, they had racks of clothing waiting for me to style three outfits total for my photo shoot with them. I love when companies let me have creative control. Working with Nifty Thrifty really inspired me all over again. I really like taking pieces and making it my own and working with thrift clothing makes it so simple for me. I'm excited to announce on October 2nd, the pictures I took with them will drop and an entire page on their site dedicated to thrift items for sale inspired by my style. I spent all morning bleaching this skirt because it was a dark jean and I wasn't too fond of it. I distressed it a little bit too just to match this visor haha. I've been watching these Kanye West and Zane Lowe BBC interviews. Let me get back to them.

Wearing: Nifty Thrifty denim visor, Hanes cropped white tee, denim skirt (similar), pale pink heels

  9. You are officially my hero. I see the same tired response of walmart being subsidized due to medicare and food stamps but generally it is from the very liberals that wanted those social programs in the first place. Its not just Walmart, its anyone with a low wage.
