How-to Style a Pixie Cut

“The most courageous act is still to think for yourself. Aloud." –Coco Chanel

I never do how-to's on my blog because it's hard to find time but I've been getting a lot of questions on how I style my hair ever since I cut it to a long pixie. It's much easier to maintain than when I had long hair down to my lower back. Although I believe I will eventually be growing my hair back out to the recent bob I had, I was ecstatic to be featured on Arrojo's Style Noted page for my step-by-step pixie process. I hope this how-to on styling my hair helps you guys!

1. & 2. I use Arrojo pomade paste to slick down the sides and back of my hair. It's important to apply it while your hair is dry, it helps better with frizz and the pieces of hair that usually blow with the wind.

3. & 4. I section off the longer top part of my hair into three separate sections. I alternate the way I apply each roller. If I apply the first roller inward, then I apply the second outward so that when I take them out, they curl different ways to create more volume.

5. & 6. & 7. I take out the three rollers and slowly run my fingers backward through the top of my hair so it looks more natural. I then use a good amount of Arrojo holding spray to keep the curls in place. While spraying, I make sure to scrunch my hair to add more height.
