"A man can be as great as he wants to be. If you believe in yourself and have the courage, the determination, the dedication, the competitive drive, and if you are willing to sacrifice the little things in life and pay the price for the things that are worthwhile, it can be done" -Vince Lombardi

Recently, Todd from CONVICT MANNEQUIN asked me if I wanted to be a part of his fashion portfolio. He thought it would be a good idea to feature a fellow fashion blogger, such as himself, so of course I said YES! The theme was urban streetwear incorporating different patterns, which I am a huge fan of! Here are a couple photos out of many taken.

I'm going to keep this post short. I felt like doing something different, so clogs and a long tribal skirt it is. My hat is my grandmothers, clogs are Steve Madden, and my skirt my aunt gave me. Once again, thank you everyone for your sweet, uplifting comments in my hard times.

I've been on an emotional roller coaster lately because my life has been changing completely. Graduating from school, and having to meet the fashion school requirements. My life is all over the place right now and taking a complete turn. The hardest part is trying to keep it all together when everythings falling apart. On another note, my grandmother has been teaching me how to sew. This romper I'm wearing is thrifted, they use to be pants but she taught me how to hem them, so this is the result. My heels are Jessica Simpson. My lovely talented friend Kaisha did my stunning leopard make up, check her page HERE! I want to say thank you to everyone who wrote such sweet and inspirational comments to me on my previous post. I appreciate you guys so much!

I visited my grandfather today in the hospital and he kept saying the cutest thing. He kept falling in and out of sleep, and everytime he'd wake up and I was texting on my phone he'd ask me if I'm fashion blogging! It made me smile so hard, it was the cutest thing ever! haha! Love him.

Last week I finally decided I wanted to do fashion school in New York. I was pretty excited to find out the cost was decent, but saddened when I found out I needed more to meet requirements. So I put applying on hold for now. I basically need a portfolio. In other words, I have to somewhat be able to draw, mind you, I can't even draw stick figures haha. I also need to be able to sew, and have a 3.0 GPA as well. So after 2 days of moping around, I decided not to feel sorry for myself and do something about it. I asked my grandmother to give me sewing lessons, I'm going to youtube videos on how to draw, and before I graduate this term, I'm going to take an elective drawing class to hopefully raise my GPA while getting drawing lessons. Happy Valentines Day my lovelies! Of course I had to do something pink or red to celebrate...but evidently I chose pink haha! My corset top is from Wetseal and i love the criss cross pattern down the side of it because its the same pattern as my Jessica Simpson heels. By the way, I'm completely in love with McQueen quote! ahh so amazing!

So my beautiful aunt let me rummage through her closet for vintage clothing and I just so happen to stumble across this LV bag...and of course I had to borrow it =] don't think I can explain how much I'm in love with it! My bronze bracelet is Daisy Fuentes, my skinny jeans are Forever21 and my olive green military style jacket was my very first thrifted item when I was 15! So glad I kept it over these years! I put up more items for sell at SHOP-NADIA!

Everyone I know absolutely hates this dress and says it makes me look like a Grandma. haha but I fell in love with it when I found it at a Goodwill on 3rd Ave in the Bronx. You have to go with your own instinct regardless of others opinions because then it wouldn't be your own fashion sense! My earrings are thrifted along with the dress. My hair and make up were done by my lovely Kaisha. You can check out her blog HERE! She does amazing make up! Hope everyone had a good weekend!

i never wanted this so bad.

My teal blazer and cream blouse are thrifted. My shorts are from weatseal and my heels are BCBG. I thought my hair would be super cute like this [thank you alex] and I love how you can still see my blonde streak! This is my last semester of college before I transfer to a University. I'm applying for graduation now and decided I'm going to get my Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design but can't find many schools. If any of you lovelies know of some..please let me know! Check out my Ebay store HERE or if you don't feel like bidding you can buy them on my Etsy store HERE!

It feels so weird to not be wearing heels in this post, but I wanted to try something different and I have been dying to pair these loafers up with something. By the way...everything in this post is thrfited. Don't forget to check out my ebay store HERE! I have wedges selling for 5 dollars and earrings for 2. So everything is pretty cheap!

I've always wanted to dye my hair blonde but been super afraid it would kill it so I did a little blonde streak in the back as you can see in this picture. I LOVE IT and now want to dye my hair completely blonde haha.
