hopeless.

"Fight and push harder for what you believe in, you’d be surprised, you are much stronger than you think" -Lady Gaga

Things unexpectedly get thrown your way and you have to try handle it the best way you possibly can. Even though it's painful and you don't want to accept it, maybe its for the best. I've been going through a rough time lately and haven't really had the energy to take pictures. I just threw something real light together so that you lovelies don't think i forgot about you! I just purchased this blazer from this Jamaican owned thrift store around my way. They love me there haha. This stone necklace i got from a community sale in New Jersey this past summer. The pink and olive green tones go so well together. Hope everyone had a fun and safe halloween!

underrated.

"I'm not doing anything in comparison with any girls, I'm doing me" -Nicki Minaj

Today, I am honored to introduce my Jeffrey Campbell Boot Camp heels. When im at home, I usually wear them around my house to cook or clean, thats how much im obsessed haha. I found this black dress when I use to work at the Macy's in New Jersey. I found it on sale which is still hard for me to believe sometimes because the shoulder pads are to die for. The nail rings are such a good find as well because they are so unique.

feel like letting go.

"Some things are better left unsaid, and some feelings are better left suppressed" -Me

This sweater is another one of my finds from the thrift store. I'm a HUGE fan of broad shoulders, so this sweater definitely caught my attention. The combination of colors also blew me away. The wedges im wearing are one of my favorites. I know im always saying that about all my heels, but im so obsessed with these wedges that i barely wear them because im too afraid of ruining them haha. I'm sure you guys know how that is!

My earrings and bracelet are also finds from the thrift store.

open my eyes to beauty.

"Love builds bridges where there are none" -R.H. Delaney

Recently, i was shopping at a thrift store [of course]..and was hoping to find some decent colors for this fall. To my surprise i came across this shirt. The purple wine is such a deep, rich color. It was perfect for this fall. The thick sweater material makes it that much better. These dollhouse wedges have become an obsession of mine. They look so good with so many looks. My bracelet is by Daisy Fuentes! P.S. i was wondering if anyone could help me with making a blog just to sell my clothing on..any advice?

come back home.

"There are few rules I know to be true about love and marriage: If you don't respect the other person, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. If you don't know how to compromise, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. And if you don't have a common set of values, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. Your values must be alike. Love wins, love always wins" -Morrie Schwartz

Last weekend, i attended a wedding in Pennsylvania. I have 2 different dresses. One for the actual wedding ceremony, and the other for the wedding reception. The sun dress is from the Lauren Conrad collection. My red gown is from David's Bridal.

this picture is kind of blurry but i wanted to show you the reception gown

question existing.

"If you can imagine it, you can achieve it; if you can dream it, you can become it" -William Arthur Ward

I found this top at a resale store in downtown Orlando, and i defiantly had to purchase it. I wanted to wear this top as a dress, so I paired it with a white woven belt to accentuate my waist. The heels are one of my favorite because the color goes so well with so many things. My earrings are thrifted and my Chanel purse..well its to die for.

sucker free.

“Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength”

Im wearing thrifted pants that remind me of MC Hammer haha. my jewelry and black clutch is also thrifted. the shirt itself use to stay in the back of my closet, i never wear it. so i decided why not crop it? i ended up cutting a quarter off the sleeves and the bottom as well to make it a cropped shirt. such an easy DIY and it changes the entire look of the outfit.
